The Greater Chicago Locksmiths Association (GCLA) was founded in 1956 by and for the benefit of locksmiths in Chicago and the greater Chicagoland area. Our founding fathers' goal was to promote the advancement of our industry by inspiring a spirit of cooperation among fellow locksmiths. Today, this spirit is the driving force behind the GCLA.
The mission of the GCLA, as dedicated members of the locksmith/security industry, is to ensure professional excellence and ethics; create a public demand for professional locksmith services; represent and speak for the locksmith/security industry; and expand the exchange of trade information and knowledge with other related organizations to preserve and enhance the industry.
Each year brings the introduction of many new and redesigned products for locksmiths. In order to service these items in an efficient manner, today's locksmith must keep up to date on new products and procedures. The GCLA recognizes this and has dedicated itself to providing top quality programs and instructors on a wide variety of subjects.
The GCLA features educational programs designed to provide information and skills to keep you informed of the latest tools and technology in our industry.
